airPLAST is a premixed lime-based plaster, and it contains no cement and can be used for heritage restoration projects or hempcrete construction. It has been formulated to assure consistency and performance on-site by adding water.

This premixed lime-based plaster is ideal for heritage restoration projects or hempcrete construction. It is specially formulated to ensure consistent performance on-site by simply adding water. Applying airPLAST to heritage walls is a straightforward process. Start by removing the old plaster and dusting off the bricks. Next, slush water onto the walls using a brush and allow it to dry. Then, mix 1 part air lime with 4 parts water and slush the lime water mix onto the bricks. Once it dries, mix the airPLAST with water to create a perfect consistency plaster and apply it with a trowel. Remember to find the right balance of moisture, as shown in our instructional video. After the first layer, level out any uneven areas, scratch the surface, and fill with additional plaster until it reaches a smooth finish. To achieve the desired texture, float the walls with a timber trowel and finish with a steel trowel. Allow the plaster to dry for a few days and then lightly spray water over the walls to aid the setting process.
