Product Description.
Granite rock captivates with its multi-faceted colours—sometimes the reds stand out, other times the blacks or greens. This effect is recreated in Earthcote Granite, an environmentally friendly, acrylic coating filled with multi-coloured acrylic flakes, delivering a hard, matt textured finish.

- Brush Applied – Easy application using standard paint brushes and rollers.
- Not for Wet Areas – Avoid use in showers, bathrooms, and other high-moisture spaces.

- Eco-Conscious Formulation – Low VOC with Zero VOC, Glycol-Free, APEO-Free, NPEO-Free, and Formaldehyde-Free tinting options.

Application Process.
Preparation is key. Ensure all surfaces are dry, sound, and correctly primed.
- Prime: Apply one coat of Midas Ultra Fine Aggregate Primer, tinted to your chosen shade, using a Hamiltons 225mm Polypile roller. Allow to dry for at least 4 hours.
- Paint: Thoroughly stir and apply two coats of Earthcote Granite Paint using a Hamiltons 225mm Polypile roller, followed by laying off with a Hamiltons 150mm Utility or Fibreglass brush.
- Spread Rates:
- Midas Ultra Fine Aggregate Primer: ± 6m²/litre
- Earthcote Granite Paint: ± 3m²/litre
Note: Overcoating must occur within 48 hours to prevent surface contamination. Maintain a wet edge and avoid stopping mid-application to prevent lap marks.

Available in 1L and 5L tins.
Environmental Responsibility.
Proper disposal is essential. Do not wash painting tools where water drains into stormwater systems. Unused paint and empty containers should be disposed of through an approved recycling scheme or in accordance with local regulations.
