There is no use damp-proofing and re-painting when there is rising damp still trapped inside a wall. Rising damp on interior walls is a build-up of internal moisture which shows through the plaster and paintwork. When the rising damp gets more severe, it shows up as wet patches on your wall causing paint to peel, discolouration and can lead to mould.

TIP: When building a new wall, use a 40mm PVC pipe as a template for the Damp-Vent holes to avoid having to drill afterwards!

Installation of Damp-Vent Ventilation plugs:
The ideal plug spacing is 300-500mm apart; from the floor 300mm and requires 2-3 plugs per meter of wall.
For best results fit the plugs on either side of the wall.
