Achieving the optimal bitumen bleed by using a mandrel inside the roll of waterproofing to achieve a table bleed and no roll deformation assists with the ultimate bond to the substrate and ensures the overlaps are completely welded together to achieve a watertight structure.
We pay particular attention to the fine detailing of internal and external angles, termination details, pipe penetrations and gusset details. We show our customers how to lay out a site, how the overlaps should run and how to cut the leading edge of every roll to ensure ease of water flow to the outlets.
We provide working drawings and apply these in practice. On architectural drawings, the black and white lines are on a two-dimensional drawing, but in reality and onsite our customers deal with many obstacles, angles, protrusions and rain which always results in a delay.
