Alco-Flex Polyurethane Adhesive & Sealant.

Ever so versatile, ALCOLIN ALCO-FLEX POLYURETHANE ADHESIVE & SEALANT is a multipurpose, polyurethane-based adhesive and sealant suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Whether building or repairing, it is a must-have for glueing or sealing just about anything from stone, ceramic, metals, brickwork and plaster to fibreglass, glass, rubber, some plastics and painted surfaces, to name just a few.
The low odour product forms a strong, permanently elastic bond that remains flexible within temperatures of -30°C to 80°C.
It is paintable, requires no priming and thanks to its neutral curing technology, it is non-corrosive to metals and compatible with concrete and plaster.

• Sealing and bonding in the building industry
• Sealing floor and paving joints and low-movement wall joints glazing and weather-sealing between the door and window frames and plaster
• Laying parquet flooring
• Mounting of mirrors
• Sealing between building carpentry and masonry
• Sealing air-conditioning and ventilation joints
• Sealing containers and refrigeration work
• Flexible bonding in cars, caravans and boats
• Bonding decorative panels, cladding and roof tiles

Other Information
• Not suitable for underwater application
• Gaps exceeding 5mm in depth should be half-filled with a backing foam before application.

ALCOLIN CONTRACTORS ACRYLIC is a Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), water based, flexible and paintable builder’s sealant that is used for caulking, grouting, jointing and embedding in building construction. It is easy to apply and compatible with most materials used in construction e.g. concrete, wood, brick, natural and artificial stone, glass, metal and sanitary-ware. It resists cracking, gives a smooth finish and is suitable for interior and exterior use.

• Resistant to UV radiation, moisture and extreme temperature fluctuation

Other Information
• Should not be used where high movement accommodation is needed
• Should not be used on oily or bituminous substrates, rubber or building material that may bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents
• Is not recommended for use in floor joints, as a glass sealant, or joints subject to continuous water immersion
• When using ALCOLIN CONTRACTORS ACRYLIC do not expose to water or rain for at least 24 hours
• Will not adhere to some plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon
