In an ongoing effort to protect our staff and customers we have come up with important habit changes. We are finding innovative methods of protection and innovative ways to keep our business on the go. We will provide regular communication to any potential changes.
To All Midas Paints Tygervalley Customers
Following the announcement by our President Cyril Ramaphosa last night, stringent and urgent steps need to be taken in order to prevent the spread of COVID 19. We take the safety of our staff and customers seriously, with this in mind we would like to share some important behavioral changes that we have implemented at Midas Paints Tygervalley.
Non-Contact Policies for staff to staff and staff to customers. Our culture is to shake hands and in some cases hugs, we need to change this with no contact so a kick of feet and knocking of elbows is the order of the day. Sanitizer at entrance to the shop, all staff are requested to sanitize before entering the shop and we encourage regular hand washing, regular cleaning of key boards and operational equipment that has frequent human contact. All staff to wash their hands after every contact and going out and arriving at the shop. We encourage employees not to make hand contact with their face, nose and eyes.
Non-Contact receiving system updates, all deliveries received, we will provide suppliers delivering product with hand sanitizers, all products received with be cleaned with Midas Steracon decontamination compound (system supplied to hospitals surgical wards and high care wards for decontamination).
Non-Contact delivery system, we encourage our customers to place orders via email telephonically and on WhatsApp. We are geared to increase our deliveries and will keep customers up to date on delivery schedules. Our drivers are geared for no contact and are given sanitizers to wipe hands and all contact surfaces.
We take the safety of our staff and customers seriously and we utilize the service of Intial (The Experts in Hygiene) to clean our shop including bathrooms, they also supply our hand wash and sanitizers for the bathrooms.
